I’ve always been a fan of blog carnivals as a way to find new and interesting material, and so I’ve decided to start one here.
Purpose and Subject Matter
To highlight interesting articles and works about art, new media and education. Metamorphosis is about the change and development in these subjects, as well as the influence they have on one another and society at large. Articles that have somewhat overlapping themes, such as information concerning the arts in schools, will be given precedence.
Timeframe
This is a monthly carnival and will be published on or around the first of each month. Please submit your links for forthcoming editions on or by the 26th of each month.
Submission Guidelines, Notes and Tips
- What to submit: links to blog entries that feature articles discussing art, new media and/or education; personal artwork, creative writing or film; or embedded artwork from other artists so long as you have other content with it, such as a discussion of its history or meaning.
- What NOT to submit: links to spam blogs; pages with little to no content; personal rants that have no real, logical argument; pornography (see next rule).
- I’m highly liberal when it comes to the arts and most content in general. Artistic nudity, naughty language and violence are a-okay with me. I have to see a purpose in it, though. It’s subjective, yes.
- Not just any articles will be accepted. Your discussions and arguments must be coherent, have good spelling and not take to YELLING at any point.
- If in doubt about something, ask me. I’m not mean!
Where to Submit
