As occurred in my Media: Texts and Contexts tutorial. A student had just finished a presentation on representation and post-modernism in media, having stated that some theorists say post-modernism began in the 80s.
Tutor:
Yes, and the idea that [post-modernism] started in the 80s is completely incorrect, in my opinion. Just utterly wrong.
Lelia:
That’s very post-modernist of you.
