Hump Day Funnies: Geeky Firefox Ad

Date: November 23, 2006

If there was any previous doubt as to whether I am a geek or not, this should pretty well settle things. I love this video.

About Hump Day Funnies

Making it to “Hump Day”–an American(?) colloquialism for Wednesday, or the middle of the week–can sometimes be hard, and you still have two more days to go before you get a break! Laughing is a great way to relax yourself and pass the time. Got something funny you’d like featured here? Consider emailing me about it at leliathomas@gmail.com.

Josh - Maybe they just thought ahead, why include opera when its becoming some kind of frankenstein monster of browser, what with those supposed extensions or whatever you call them and bittorent integration. Good ideas yes, but i want my browser to just be a browser, maybe a few extensions for blogging and reading feeds ;) but really just for surfing

Ed, I agree! I recently tried to get myself to switch to Opera, what with its good performance ratings on speed for Windows systems. While it was definitely fast, I couldn’t live without many of my extensions that I have with Firefox, which definitely aren’t available in Opera. They have a weird idea of what a good extension is…

Too true, personally, if they fix the odd memory leak and figure out some way to deal with the password thing (dear no, you mean to tell me I have to remember my PASSWORDS) well, ill definitely have nothing bad to say about firefox, not that I do right now, aside from the pain of extension updating, and how I once put so many conflicting extensions that it crashed, but all is fixable

That’s the best ad I think I’ve ever seen. Awesome.
