Insane Stuff

Sorry for the week without posts. I’m in Melbourne by now (obviously–the flights are long, but even they don’t last for two and a half weeks…they just feel that way). Things are slowly but surely working out, I think, despite a lot of shockers in my first week of getting here, including my still not having a valid student visa. That deserves a whole entry on this site; however, it’ll have to wait, as I still won’t have a proper way to write regularly at least for another week. After that point, things will go back to normal, or something similar to that.
This next week I’ll be moving into my new apartment. Wish me luck!

I think you’re incredibly brave, moving that far across the world, especially by yourself (I found emigrating with my family hard enough). Still, that you’re on your own means you’ll have that extra determination to make things work, since you’ve only yourself to count on. Where are you living until you move into your apartment, by the way? (And may I also be nosy and ask: exactly how expensive is it to relocate and study abroad, and do you get grants to aid you, or are you entirely on your own?)

How on earth you`ve managed to do this on your own I don,t know, it must be both very hard and very challenging, I wish you all the Strength and Fortitude you need to get through it all!!!!
