- I believe all women and men should check out the Progesterone Research Network, even though this particular site is geared more towards women. Progesterone, a natural hormone of the body–not synthetic!–is known to help balance both men and women’s estrogen and testosterone. Proper levels of progesterone have been shown to shrink cysts in the breasts and ovaries and to help protect against prostate problems. Other things it’s been shown to at least help? Osteoporosis, menopause and the insomnia that can follow it, hirutism, basic PMS, hot flashes, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and more. Check it out, no matter your age or sex, as both young women and men can benefit from balanced hormone levels.
- iPod in a Can would definitely be for those diehard iPod listeners who can’t stand the thought of taking a crap without hearing the chorus of their favorite musicians. “We are the champions…” (Thanks, Scott.)
- An interesting note about the United States’ death toll in Iraq. Also take a look at How many Iraqi civilians have died as a result of the war? 100,000 or 8,000?, which discusses the agendas behind statistical data.
- I find it humorous that out of the 48 continental United States, Nevada has the highest rate of divorce. Couldn’t be the drive-through weddings, gambling, prostitution, and crime, could it? Top five? Nevada, Arkansas, Alabama, Wyoming and Idaho. Bottom five? Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Illinois, Massachusetts, Georgia and D.C.
