Sometimes we need to go outside in the night, where there are no lights, and see a wide open sky of black, the faded stars above, the trees or buildings around us. Remember you’re small, insignificant in the grand scheme of creation–and yet, wonderfully unique, hugely important at the same time. Your existence changes the lives of thousands, likely more, whether you will ever realize it. Sometimes existence is enough.

Don’t forsake or forget what you have. Enjoy the simple things in life, especially your intricate relationships, because they are what matter, what last if you work at them. Keep them, cherish them. You’ll need them when times are hard, when your days are numbered, when there are smiles and tears.

Let Live. Love life. Open your eyes to what matters. It’s us, simply, our lives, from the womb unto the grave.
