Little Lights Among the Darkness
Date: November 29, 2005
The lesson here is that the good do triumph on some level. Your eyes may not see it, for they may still seem to sit on the edge, looking in, but on the edge, they’re experiencing joys that the crowd does not. Better yet, there is also justice.
Reworking My Perspective
Date: November 28, 2005
I don’t know when exactly it occurred to me, but it’s stuck with me of late that politics and the arguments held within are about like placebos. For every opinion there will be an opposing one, and for the opinions there will be a million and one perspectives.
Narrow Hall
Date: November 25, 2005

Lit so brightly by burning lights–
So white in a haze of fog.
I’m not ready.

Date: November 14, 2005
Along the edge of a rocky shore,
Walks a girl whose dress is white, as ivory bone–
Her russet hair and simple fabrics wind-thrown
As she searches for seashells…
The Sun
Date: November 13, 2005
Shadows flee in fear
From golden rays of light
As trees stretch arms out wide
In rebirth and delight.
The Bedroom Window
Date: November 13, 2005
There’s spring outside my window,
All open and blooming with green.
And I, a slight prisoner, in my bedroom unseen.
Belonging
Date: November 13, 2005
It’s just the stains of life, some say,
But he isn’t worth your time.
All his lies and the fake tears cried,
They finally crossed the line.
